Wow. this is a tiny box for my story. Well my story is I have been heavy most of my life- starting at an early age when I was put threw lots of stress and my family was going through many changes. I was taught early on to use food for comfort, boredom,fun- etc... Always is was unhealthy food- is has always been a joke if my Mom were to cook because it was so rare and when she did it was a huge celebration- everyone in our family (all my siblings) would come home for dinner and we would eat at a table (SHOCKING!!) and talk to eachother (another huge shocker). I really enjoyed these 1-3times per year because we would all be together. Mostly we have always eaten fast food or quick meals- frozen or 10min &its ready type high salt crap food. So as I got older and my life got harder with more complications etc... I became more unhappy and used food- the only thing I had any control over and I just packed on the pounds FAST!!! So I had surgery at a young age after many unsucessful trys to lose it. I am 25 and 7months post op. I am hoping this surgery will prove yet to be a good choice and helpful to me. It is still very new to me and I am learning and trying to take a more active role with my body and my health.
