"My first impression of Dr. Aranow was wow! this guy is confident. From that moment on he reins you in. He seems to really believe in what he is doing. When we met for a consult he had a great sense of humor and seemed to sense the kind of people me and my husband are. (very silly) Anyway, I am in the pre-surgical stages now, meeting with Psych., Dietician and attending support groups. I would recommend him simply on bedside manner, however considering he is the most experienced surgeon in the State when it comes to this surgery I would say you are in good hands. I would just be prepared to wait in his waiting room before your appointments, he is very busy. This was my impressions only, your experiences may differ."
