3 weeks from today.
I will start my new life after Lap Roux en Y gastric bypass.

I have been coming to this website everyday since my consultation with my surgeon in Jan 09. I didn't want to put anything in writing in case something happend to make it so I couldn't have the surgery.
After having so many tests; upper GI, Abdomonal ultrasound. Stress test,
echocardiogram, psych evaluation,nutitionist consult and cardiologist and sleep study.  I was ok'd to have the surgery in Apr 09, submitted to for approval to my insurance, Anthem Blue Cross California, and was approved in less that 2 weeks.  Got a date last week and her I am just 3 short weeks to a new life, a healthier life.  Hoping to help the diabetes I just developed  in the past couple years, the high blood pressue I have been battling since I was in my 20s. And all the health benefits that will come with losing this weight. 
But first I have to get through the next 3 weeks.  I will pray alot and keep only positive thoughts as much as possible.
