Today is May 7th, and I have been waiting on my Insurance approval.  It sure has been sometime.  I am keeping my faith that one day SOMEBODY will call me and SAY "YOU ARE APPROVED"  but until then..ANYDAY NOW!  On Tuesday I will be calling the Surgeons office to get any update on the insurance approval..I was told to wait 30 days and it has been 30 days "CALENDAR DAYS"  I suppose they mean BUSINESS days..Of Course ...I will keep you all informed once I get some news.

Update on my surgery...As of March 11th all paperwork as been submitted for insurance approval..Waiting approval !!!  I am just about to get my weigh in tomorrow March 14th so I can get my Surgery date...Yayyyyyy... I will keep you all updated. Wish me luck.  On March 15th is my Pre-Op Class for 4 hours.

Lately everything seems to be moving along perfectly.  Nutrition consultation was wonderful, I learned so much on what I already like to eat rather than NOT eating. Worked on a perfect diet for myself (NO CARB) go figure, Im a CARB Junky lol.
Next on my list to complete before surgery is my Psych Consulation, this should be a breeze, all I have ever done is prepare for this surgery. According to my Insurance, a letter from my PCP and Nutrition Consult and Psych is all I need and it sure feels like its FOREVER.
I have started the Atkins Diet to lose some pounds before surgery. Having to lose 8 lbs before surgery so the doctor can  schedule??  you know that wasnt the hard part...its more of sticking to a plan.  I always told myself, "you know how to lose weight" so whats the problem?" well on that note, I am sticking to this plan and not backing down for anything.
I am planning to follow through this till the mid month of March and go back in for my weigh in and SEND OFF for Inurance approval :).....
Keep me in your spirits and send me some encouragement, to motivate and push me through.  I sure need it sometimes.

I was so excited to finally meet with the staff members at the doctors office.  Yayyy All I have to do is complete my Nutrition consultation and meet with my psych dr next week... and I am on my way.  Possible surgery date for April 2011.  Should be a breeze.... Will keep everyone posted on my success

I finally attended my bariatric seminar on February 16th 2011.  It was very informative.  I am now just awaiting a phone call for my intial consult with Dr. Coates office.  SO EXCITING   

Doctors office called and scheduled my seminar for February 16th, 2011 for 5:30 to 8:00 pm....Can't wait to attend and get the ball rolling....
