Today is August 24th. I have been out for a bit on OH for a bit. I try to check back with the group on here just to give you an update.

I am down to 243 pounds and it seems I have been losing about 5 lbs a month so far. I went from a size 26/32 to a size 16 jeans..XL..feels wonderful. Inches are just falling off :)

I am about 10 months post op and living my life and loving it.  My DS has done wonders :)

I will try my best to keep up the posting..Ever since the weight loss journey I have been MIA..not intentionally, it's just LOVING to stay busy...NO MORE COUCH POTATO..

I am still on my journey of weight loss.  I went to my Post-Op appointment and my total loss for one month is 11 pounds.  Things have been doing wonderfully.  Definitely having more energy and can't stay still..lol...

I have NOT have had a stall at all !! I know being from 422 to 250 has been gave me such a new life :)

Sorry I have not been on.  I have been walking alot and getting more out.. Who would have know after ALL these years of being overweight.

Hello friends of OH.  I am checking in for March and I just want to say I am doing wonderfully. I am weighing in at 280 :) I am putting in smaller goals at a time.  I am aiming to be under 200 lbs then work on the aim of 155 to 180.  Either on would be good.  But on the other hand my doctors at saying at my height I should be at 154 lbs.  All is doing well with me and my everyday living.  I am going on 5 months since my surgery from October 14th 2014.  I am down 137+ loss of weight...that is a whole person I have lost.  Things are good with me and I just  wanted to check in.  take care and wishing you all a healthier year.

Today has been a wonderful day. My family and I decided to go on a long nature walk :) Things have been awesome after my DS. I have lost over 135+ pounds and I feel like a teenager most of the time but in reality "IM LIVING LIFE".  Sorry I havnt been on much. Just wanted to stop in to say that I am doing really really well. Keep up with your success and I will definately keep you updated on mine.  LIVE LOVE LIFE is wonderful...

It has been a while since I've had my surgery October 14th 2014. My apologies. Currently I have lost over 100+ pounds. Very proud of myself. It has been a wonderful journey. I am still going through my monthly surgeon visits and according to them..I'm on track. I will definitely be coming back on to check messages. Resources are wonderful on Obesity Help. Great supporters.

Today I am 3 weeks out from surgery and I am feeling great.  Still adjusting to taking in more proteins..As we all know it is difficult to even want to eat. I am out getting more physical exercise slowly and getting my walks in.  Getting my Duodenal Switch has been the very best thing that I have ever received. Thank you to all that have followed me throughout my journey.  I am down over 70 pounds since my journey to weight loss.

October 19th 2014

Today I woke up well rested. Let me start off by saying the surgery went wonderfully :) Thank God for a great team of doctors and nurses. I spent 8 hours in surgery and 2 hours in recovery. Woke up in pain and the meds kicked in quite well. I spent one night in the hospital. My husband and my mom took turns helping me at home..so thankful for their help. I'm quite sore on my tummy...not skipping my pain meds bcz it has been hard to deal with all the incisions alone. Keeping up the healing process and will keep you all updated. I definitely don't regret my surgery one bit. 

Sept 29th

Today I had my final consultation with my surgeon...Didn't know paperwork signing was like buying a home lol...Well, I finished my labs and signed all the necessary papers for surgery.  I am now officially on a FULL BLOWN LIQUID diet now!! Everything has gone through so smoothly..Thank GOD !! I am very relieved I now have 14 days till surgery...I will definitely keep everyone posted.

My journey so far has been rewarding. Lots of disciplining is my new way of life. In nine days will be my final consult. I have been so ready for my surgery. Wish me luck.
