I have always been bigger than most but I was fairly athletic so it was not a big deal. When I went to college I decided I want to look better so I lost 40 pounds. I was happy everything was great I was 150 lbs. 3 years later I got into an abusive relationship and really packed on the pounds. After ending the relationship and relocating to Texas I decided I needed to do something about this weight. I had gastric sleeve surgery in 2010. In one year I went from 265 to 155 and I felt amazing. I was able to keep the weight off until I got pregnant and gained 80 pounds. Now I am at 220 the weight is not really the problem for me now its the complications I started having during pregnancy and that I still have today. I have constant nausea, dizziness, aspiration in the lungs when I lay down, severe GERD, horrible abnominal pain, and a host of other rather nasty things. So after having an EDG and finding out how bad my stomach is twisted and shapped like an hourglass I am having a revision. My surgery will be with Dr. John Alexander this time and is set for 9/8/14. I am very nervous and little excited but most of all I am ready to get healthy again and feel better so I can have a long life with my son.
