Hypothyroidism & Gastric Sleeve

I've been having issues with my weight for some time now and finally decided to look into gastric sleeve surgery, as I just couldn't seem to lose the weight on my own. After having my lab work done I found out I have hypothyroidism and was recently put on medication. I want to feel better and get my thyroid working again. Now I'm just nervous that this will affect my weight loss after surgery. If anyone with hypothyroidism has had success with gastric sleeve, I'd love to hear your stories. Thanks!
