Yes!!!!

Having surgery only comes second to having my daughter as the best thing I've done in my life. This year has been full of roller coasters but I regret nothing... I can run for 30 minutes and barely break a sweat... I dance for hours and smile all the time... I'm going on vacation in June and i will be in a two piece stretch marks and all... Please ask me questions if your thinking about the surgery or have recently had it. I will share all the little details that I forgot to ask about... Blessings and good luck everyone!!!

God is a wonderful God... I made it through. Everyday get easier. I even laid on my side last night. Boy oh boy. I wish someone would have told me about this gas. It's not lady like at all... lol... Oooh and it hurts the first few days out. Once you get pass the gas the pain is not so bad. I can't wait till tomorrow to see if I've loss any weight in the first 7 days post op. My insurance is the absolute truth. They approved my procedure after the first letter. I'm so excited. Pre-admissions testing is done and copay paid. 7 days to go. 

Hello Everyone,

I lost the pre-surgery weight. My surgery has been scheduled for 1/23/2013. I'm so excited . I go for pre-admission testing on Monday the 14th. Wish me luck guys!!!

I have had a rough two weeks. It is so hard to keep to my diet when I'm stressed out and financially strapped. It is much cheaper to eat unhealthy food. By the grace of God I'm still doing it. Boy oh boy is it hard. 

I received a call today from my case worker with wonderful news. If I have loss the weight I needed to (I have) I will receive my surgery date on Jan. 7th. She said if everything goes as planned it will happen in January... I'm sooooooo happy!!! 

I'm so anxious. I have just begun the process and it seems like time has stood still. My caseworker is scheduling a bunch of appointments for me so I'm waiting for the schedule to come in the mail. I guess I'm just anxious to get it all written out on my calendar. Until I see it in black and white this won't seem real to me. Just excited to start this journey is all. Have a blessed evening everyone.

Yesterday I attended a support group. The wealth of information that was provided is immeasurable. I I just want to encourage anyone that has any doubts or questions to attend a support group. The attendees willingness to share their experiences was amazing.

Hello all,

I just began the process of getting wls. With every appointment my excitement grows. My 17 year old is just as excited as I am. I'm so happy for all of you that have been on this journey and have reached or are reaching your weight loss goals. I'm going to have lots of questions later I'm sure and I'm glad there is a forum like this one for support...
