weight,animals,books ramblings

 First blog... hmm what to say. guess I'll start off with my weight. I'm currently 168 lbs. I've been sitting at this number for a while now. it's not bad I know, at least I'm not gaining.right?  I've become disgruntled with the gym, haven't gone in a while...too long really. Now I'm waiting on my husband to get released to lift weights so he can go with me now...I have to have a work out Buddie or i get bored as crap. The kids are wonderful.. Never thought I'd be a mom, let alone to 3 babies. Today, despite the gloomy Indiana weather we went on a LONG  walk around where I live. Stopped and played at the park for a little bit. Then we went home and ate lunch and NAP time!! wooot! love nap time. I can sit in quite and read my book!! I have recently become a HUGE fan of Nicolas Sparks. I read Dear John, loved it. I found The Lucky One in July at a yard sale, Score! read it before the movie came out..I watched the movie, they leave SO much out.. grrr. Anyways picked up Safe Haven, blew through that in 4 days..heard it's going to be a movie too.. yay! working on The Guardian now.. love it! I'll soon get tired of  sappy love stories and read the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo trilogy, since  hubby just finished it. Then I'll probably go back to my love stories, Sparks is just a darn good writer. wish I could write like him.. 
  Think I'm getting softer in my old age.. I always said I'd never have another dog or a cat...and well yeah I did. I've realized my beloved, 12 year old Conner, is getting old,slow and probably wont be around much longer.  About a month ago I seen FREE to good home Basset/ Beagle puppies..and went and picked up a female, they were calling Lily..I'm not crazy able flower names so i changed it to Lucy..and It fit her. .. Then last Sunday, I heard a distant meow, didn't think much about it.. then I felt something on my foot. I looked down almost screamed but didn't when I seen it was a kitten just about 5 weeks. It's a boy cat we've named Spaz. It too, fit him, he's loving, playful cat. but in an instant will attack playfully our dogs. So yeah either I'm getting softer or crazier in my old age..LOL or maybe, just maybe it's that  turning 30 thing this year. LOL I don't know.
