Hmmm...How do I start to convey my battle with the buldge.  As a child, I was always larger than the other kids my age.  My grandmother always told me that I was growing horizontally instead of vertically.  Ok, so I had to get used to being pleasantly plump, to phatty fly, and then my weight balloned to a point to which it could not be controlled.  I remember gaining 60 lbs in one year...Not Cool!  Deep down inside I know that my body weight has truly impacted my personal relationships with friends, and family.  Wanting to lead a more healthy and "normal" life has been my biggest motivator to obtain weight loss surgery.

I stumbled upon this website way before I even chose a surgeon or had my surgery.  Everything happens for a reason when your ready for it to happen.  Here's to weight loss; see all of you on the loser's bench.
