Gee didn't realize it had been so long. Ya know I am still up and down as far as the should I or shouldn't I do this. I think to some degree that is normal. I am tring to focus on the why part.
I am almost done with Mayo required 12 week classes. I see the Surgeon for a consultation Sept.16th. then we will see.
Hubby does not want me to have it. He is afraid it will make me worse. I have had many other surgeries that have taken a lot of time to recover from. So am glad he is going with me on the 16th to get his concerns addressed.
I have started going to Overeaters Aynonomous <[sp] to help me deal with my head issues. It is nice to know others that have some of the same issues as me. It is helping me see things and learn things about myself. One minor concern is my age 62 I don't see any older woman here so am wondering about that.  If there are some here will you leave me a note?

I am starting to wonder if I should go up to the Cities to have this done. My insurance will not pay for the 12 sessions. So will need to check into this.

Well got the first of many appointments done. Saw the Nutrionalist and I do qualify for the sugery. bmi 48 with other health issues. I see the Dietican [sp] tomorrow. Am waiting for appointment with the Physitrist [sp] that may not happen till Jan. 2008. This is going to be a long journery. They also have 12 sessions one a week on relearning how to eat that the Physitrist has to set up. So am maybe looking at spring before I see a surgeon to set a date maybe. Not sure if it will be open or not and do not know what type yet. She said a Dr. Kinkaid? They want you to lose wait and if you gain you have to wait. Will know more I hope tomorrow. It is better to go slow and learn then to jump into things. 
So that is my news for now. I should know more tomorrow.
