I have a date for my revision! It is December 17, 2009. My surgeon is going to repair the anastomosis. I hope I'm able to get to goal this time, because I don't want to go under the knife anymore.

I'm finally going through the process to get a revision. I started the process in November 2008, but got scared after having the endoscopy. The endoscopy revealed that my pouch has stretched.

I went to a different surgeon's seminar the other night to get information on the ROSE Procedure and Stomaphyx. I learned that insurance does not cover those procedures because they are fairly new. So, I'm going to my original surgeon on Tuesday to see what he has to say again. Last year, he said that he would do a laparoscopic plication. The plication is covered by insurance after completion of an endoscopy and psychological evaluation. So, that's the route I'll be taking.

I'm so afraid to have another surgery, but I really want to get to my goal. No matter how much I exercise and drink protein shakes, I can't lose more than 15 pounds.   Size 14 is still too big for my height of 5'1. If I don't lose more weight, I'm going to go .
