Well were do I start.
I have lived in the Bay Area all my life and have been fairly active. But, I have always been overweight to some degree, with gaining most of my weight in the past 17 years (after the delivery of my second child). Like many, I have been on many diets with some results, but then always gaining the weight plus some back.
In the past couple of years, I have been fortunate enough to work with several co-workers who have chosen bariatric surgery and who have had great success. After weighing the pro's & con's, I too decided to have surgery to aid me in my journey. I chose Dr. Foster to help move forward with this process which I found to be a good match for me.
I had surgery, the lap band on February 26, 2007 with no complications.
My journey now continues.
