Huge Changes

Jan 11, 2012

Have had some huge changes this week:

First off I went and had my 3 month post op blood work done and my cholesterol has dropped from 376 to 216..Wahoooo.
Second, I was able to go to TJ Max and buy size 10, that's right size 10 jeans. I don't ever remember wearing a size 10 ever!
Third, a co-worker walked right past me several times before realizing it was me.. Comment.. "man what happened to your a...s, or should I say lack there of."

OH, YA GOOD WEEK

2 Months Post Op

Dec 04, 2011

Today I am just  about 2 month post op and  was pleased to see 34 pounds gone. I can't believe how much I have changed. My husband took me to buy some new closthes because my pants were falling off. I have gone from a size 18 to a size 12 so far.
I am hoping to be at least 10 pounds lighter for Christmas. That is my desire anyway.

Making Room for The New

Nov 14, 2011

Started getting dressed this morning. Guess what most of my pants do not fit! Oh, Darn! So I began folding up the clothes to give away. Now I am making for for prosperity to take over and deliver me new clothes.
It feels wonderful to be fitting into a size 14 pant ( could fit a 12 if my lower abdomen was a little smaller), That will happen soon enough.
I am finally able to shop in the regular womens clothes and not at the larger womens stores. YIPPIE

So Blessed

Nov 13, 2011

I am so blessed and greatful for the knowledge I have gained and the wonderful changes that have taken place in my body in the last month. I am one month post op, 27 pounds down, and no more pain in my joints.
I was able to walk today 5 miles without being winded, and I was able to out stride my hubby for the first time ever. It felt wonderful.
I am also so blessed to have a husband and children who have supported my every step. They watch over me and encourage me every day. I am also blessed to have found this site, where I can read and gain reinforcements from all of you
Have a terrific Sunday all!

Good Morning All-Happy Saturday

Oct 22, 2011

Well today is day 11 and I am supposed to be able to start eating pudding, cream soups, applesauce... i have tried the cream soups and so far so good.
I have questions though. I find that I am eating or drinking continuously to be able to get all the protein in. I am not sure if this normal or not.
How do you  all space your day out?
