Pre-Op at Hospital, Bone Denisty Scan and Dietician Class

Well one more step Closer.  I had my pre op at the CMC Mercy today with blood drawn, went over paper work and registered for surgery and paid copay for hospital.  Then I had to go to Dr. Gersin's office for my Bone Density Scan and a Dietary Class to go over the entire diet they have laid out for me.  I also met two very sweet women, one is scheduled to have surgery right after me on May 9th and then the other is scheduled the Morning after.  I think being in the class with multiple people helped with a lot of questions because sometimes people think of questions you haven't.  Wednesday is my last visit with Dr. Gersin before surgery on May 9th.  I am so nervous but excited.  Hoping for the best with the 2 week pre op diet.  Thank God for the girls I work with they are going to try to stick to the diet with me for encouragment.  Also my daughter and my husband is going to try.  I am so thankful for my support group I have.  I am leaving to go on a camping trip with my Husband and son Thursday to Lake Wateree in South Carolina,  hoping for some rest and quiet time to reflect on what is about to happen and to have a good time with the boys since the rest of the summer will be all about losing this weight.  Happy Easter everybody!
