"My first impression of Dr. C was he was very concerned about the health of his patients. And that he had definite ideas about my responsibilities in the process. As I went along the process, I realized just how serious this was and that this could be a very positive life changing enhancing opportunity and that I had a responsibility to learn everything I could about the surgery. Dr. C took a comprehensive approach, teaching - food, exercise, support and overall effectiveness of each avenue associated with WLS. I believed him when he said you had to walk 2 miles the night before surgery so I did. I believed him when he said you could only drink the first week, so I did. I found that Dr. Chasen really believed in the tools available to his patients through WLS and that obesity is truly a disease and that like any other illness you have to educate yourself and use your tool appropriately to be successful. Overall, I found Dr. Chasen a excellent surgeon, teacher and straight forward in his approach. No soft pedaling, genuine concern and consistency in his message."
