Alexander Villares

"Dr. Villares is very personable and very knowledgable. I had only met him once in his office and he was very nice and spoke very quietly. Which was a change for me from previous surgeons I have had to meet with, they always had strong and overpowering voices I shyed away. Not wanting to ask anything because I felt like I was being reprimanded. I did go to one of his seminars and he was very well spoken and understood that we were all there to learn from him. My impression of him was that he was kind and could see if you were uncomfortable, he made me feel at ease never rushed. He was always open to answering any question I had no matter how insignificant it may seem to me.rnThe morning of my surgery he showed up with a smile on his face and asked if I had any last minute questions and if I was ready, I did not have any questions and yes I was ready, saying that made me feel less nervous about the surgery. Dr. Dahl the anestheziologist was there as well and he walked me through the process and the next thing I knew I was waking up in my room. Do not remember a thing. rnAfter the surgery Dr. Villares came in to look in on me and he spoke softly yet encouragingly and stated that everything had gone well. No problems during surgery. He asked if I had any questions and I did not at that moment. My friends who waited during my surgery in the waiting room were impressed with him and said that he had a very professional yet comforting way about him when he came out to update them on the surgery. They liked him very much and that means alot when it comes from my friends because they did not like the surgeon that performed my hysterectomy. They even commented on how young he looks, he may seem young but he sure knows what he is doing. Give me a doctor/surgeon with both bedside manner and surgical competency and you cannot go wrong, which he does. He is definitely a 10 in my book. I will refer him to anyone who asks, his office staff is also great. "
