On 6-13-09, i lost someone who was very special to me. i guess you could say that he was my other
best friend. his name is james, my father in law, or you might just call him my daddy. the first day
that he met me, he called me his daughter. he would light up a room when he walked in., if it wasnt
with his crooked little smile, or just the sound of his voice. i had the honor and priveledge to know
him for 14 yrs. he would always tell my husband that he liked me more. that always made me feel so
good. but the truth is, he never thought of me a daughter in law. if anyone would ask who is that
when i was with them, he would tell them "thats my daughter". he taught me how it was to be loved
by a father. and what it was to be loved by a family. he was the one who taught me the value of
family. i remember always when we would come home, i would look at james, my daddy, and say,
"dont miss me" and he would tell me " i wont". then when we would come back the next day i would
walk in and ask "did you miss me?" and would say "why sure i did". he always made sure that his
family was taken care of. nobody had to go with out. he made sure that our boys had Christmas
this past Christmas, b/c my husband was out of work due to an illness. i am going to miss him so
bad. he was so strong, and so wise. so loving and caring. i want him to know that he was the best
dad to me and i will always love him for that.

ok, i should have posted this on thursday, but do to the fast declining health of my father in law, i have a moment this morning to blog. i got a call from the surgeons office on thursday and they told me to go ahead and start my 6mth weight ting w/ my primary dr!! so i go on the 16th for my journey to start!! i soooo cant wait!! just wanted to let everyone know!! take care everyone!!

drs office to get my first official appt! i am sooo excited! i am so ready for a life change. my husband
and i are planning to renew our vows in 2013, for our 15th anniversary. i dont want to be the blimp that i
was when we first got married. i think i was approx 200 lbs. i actually found out later that i was
pregnant with our 2nd child! which didnt help matters. but we have 2 beautiful boys, so i cant argue
with that. i will post later today to let you know when my first appt is!
can anyone help?

if anyone out there could help me? i was wondering what i might expect @ my first
appt and what i will have to do in order to get preped for the surgery? can anyone help
me with this? and i would like to find out how the weight loss surgery has helped your
life.

ended up talking to her abt weight loss surgery. she gave me the number to the dr here in town that does it.
i was very hesitant to call at first, but i did. that is after i talked it over with my husband. he is supporting me all the way! :o) i have an appt to see the surgeon on 8/11/09. i cant wait to go!! i am tried of being tired all of the time and carrying all of the extra weight. i just dont really know what to expect and i am hoping that i will find out all that i can before i go to my appt. thanks for listening.
