4/26/06- Today I made several appointments. I am meeting with my PCP May 1st, the surgeon May 18th, the endocrinologist May 18 th, the pulmonologist May 10th, the nutritionist May 24. WOW, that's alot of work in itself. I have yet to make the psychologist appt - perhaps tomorrow. I am very nervous about going through this whole thing and not being approved. I am a teacher and was hoping to get things done over the summer. I am looking into the Lap Band surgery. My PCP is not even aware of my interest in having the surgery. I am hoping he will be supportive since he told me a few years back that I was a prime candidate for a stoke or heart attach at age 40 (and I'm 37).
