It was on Wednesday, August 26th, 2009, that my mother and I discussed the possibility of weight loss surgery, and before I knew it, I was in the OR of Angeles Hospital yesterday in Tijuana Mexico having the gastric band (allergan lap-band) procedure. Despite the rushed decision, all went well, THANK GOD, with no complications. I now look forward to the journey that lies ahead of me.
