Calcium Citrate Chewables

"I tried these as samples from the vendor at the OH conference in Lexington, KY. They come in chocolate, mint and cinnamon flavors. They are a lozenge that eventually melt on your tongue. They are a bit gritty but, are a great source of calcium citrate and well absorbed by bariatric post-ops. The mint and cinnamon are the best flavors. I strongly discourage chewing these as they turn very foamy and the mint feels/tastes like a large amount of toothpaste.. "

Ascension St. Vincent - Carmel Bariatrics

"There are many reasons St. Vincent's Carmel is a Bariatric Center of EXCELLLENCE. I have not one complaint about my treatment, the facilty or the aftercare program. It is the BEST!"

Brenda Cacucci

"I was very uncertain about Dr. Cacucci the first time I met her. She is tall, very thin and I thought way too young to have enough experience in bariatric surgery and too thin to have any empathy for the morbidly obese. She seemed very businesslike too. However, after asking several questions during the initial consultation and then more in our 1:1 meeting I began to change my attitude. She has done more than 1,000 lap RNY's and has a very low complication rate. She is compassionate and caring too. Dr. Cacucci is a highly skilled surgeon who takes her profession seriously. She expects her patients to treat their new pouch with respect and emphasizes the need for aftercare. Overall, she is an excellent bariatric surgeon. If you're looking for someone to coddle you thru the process she's not for you. If you want someone to take good care of you and expect you to follow her advice then Dr. Cacucci is your doctor. "

Bret House

"I just absolutely love my PCP. He is a great doctor. He has been helpful thru my pre-op journey w/several different eating plans. When I decided to have WLS he was supportive and wrote two different letters to my insurance company to help me get approved. "
