One year ago today I had my VSG! How time flies! Even though I was excited about the prospect of what was to come, I'm not sure I really felt like I would lose as much weight as I have.  90 lbs down and I'm still losing.......although slowly at this point.  What a difference a year makes.  I have so much more energy, and feel so much better in my own skin.  My only regret is that I didn't do this 15 years ago!

I got my drain removed........thank God! and I'm going back to work tomorrow! Down 13 lbs already.  He wants me to do 2 more weeks of full liquids.  So at least I can add in some cream soups and pudding, etc.  He said that my sleeve is very tight so we have to be extra careful with it.  So I can do that.  I don't want to have any problems either.  Had to drink the yucky stuff and be x-rayed so I got to see my new sleeve on the screen!  The journey has definitely begun!

Can't wait to get started on this journey.  I know it won't be easy, but I think I'm ready.  Saw my surgeon on Tuesday, and my labs came back yesterday.  I'm ready to schedule the surgery!  Just waiting for my money to come in because I'm self-pay.  Should be here within 8 - 12 days!
