So I had my 4th fill a week ago.  FINALLY, it has made a difference!  The weight is starting to come off again, after almost 3 months of staying the same or gaining and losing the same 5 lbs.  I am almost to my first goal, which is my pre-pregnancy weight.  I am hoping to make that goal in the next few days.  Unfortunately I have fallen off the exercise wagon recently.  I was doing so good at the YMCA.  It is just hard for me to convince myself to go now.  I plan on getting back into it though.  So now I am almost down 40 lbs.  I wish it would come off faster...but dont we all. 

I went in yesterday and saw Dr Leslie for my first fill.  He put in 4ccs and it went well.  He had a little difficulty finding the right spot, so it hurt a little, but was not too bad.  I have been doing good today.  I have not had any problems with things getting stuck.  

I am so glad to finally have a fill.  I had put on 6 lbs from my last appt.  I had reverted back to some old eating habits once I found out I was able.  And I had a bad case of "last supper" syndrome.  I am back on track now and have lost 2 lbs already. 

So tomorrow morning I get banded.  I am so excited and scared all at once.  We decided to come down town to stay at a hotel near the hospital, since we might be getting a storm.  I didnt want to take any chances!!

The hardest part was saying goodbye to my baby girl.  I hope that is not the last time I see her.  I know odds are that I will be fine...but I cant help but consider the worst.  I cried so hard when I left her.  I love her more then anything.  That is why I am doing this.  I HAVE to do this...so I can be a better mom and wife.

So this past Monday I was finally approved.  It was funny, because when I called in the morning, they said I was denied again.  I went through all sorts of crap trying to figure out what they exactly needed.  Turns out the lady told me, "Hmmm, it appears to me that we have everything we need..."  I called back an hour later and I was approved!  I am pretty excited.  I still have some weight to lose this week, so hopefully I can get that off without much difficulty.  Thanks to everyone who said prayers so that I would get approved.  I appreciate it!  Surgery is on Tuesday...OMG!

So yeah...I should have known.  Cigna found a reason to deny me the first time around here.  They said they were missing things that I KNOW we sent them.  Must have been "misplaced".  Mmm Hmm.  Anyway, we are on it.  Hopefully it will get worked out in time for my surgery date. 

Wow.  Things are finally starting to move along and I am finally starting to think this might actually happen!  Last year, I was ready to have the RNY, but then I got pregnant after 5 months of dietician weight loss.  Unfortunately, that ended in the loss of my baby, Sienna Terese.  But then I got pregnant again!  Now I have a beautiful little girl, Lyla Grace.  I love being a mom more than anything in this world.  Now it is time to focus on me again.  I am ready to have the lap band surgery now.  My surgery date is scheduled for March 18th!!  I am very excited, but still nervous, because they havent submitted it to my insurance yet.  I am now on Day Two of my liquid diet.  I am hungry, but it isnt horrible.  I am on 2 slim fast shakes and a lean cuisine.  So at least it is not all liquids.
