My surgery was yesterday morning at 7:30, I was in recovery by 9 and in my room by 11.  Everything seem to go as planned.  I drank an ounce of liquid every 15 minutes.  Pain hasn't been horrible, although I'm not getting too far away from the meds.  I was given an injection last night vs liquid and it wasn't as effective so I didn't have a very good night's sleep - but that's ok.

I was delighted to find that I had lost 14lbs during the pre-op liquid diet, now only 67 more to go!
