heyyy! well heres my story..ive been struggling with weight for most of my life..even tho im only 21 years old, ive been over weight for 17 years of it and im ready to change that..ive made many attempts to try n lose the weight on my own, only to find that the second i eat something im not supposed to..the next day ive already gained a pound..its been a never ending battle that im ready to END..i know this wont be easy but im sure ill be so much happier and its alot easier then tryin on my own..ive done all sorts of diets..like jenny craig, weight watcherz, medical weight loss clinic. a bunch of pills...ive even had liposuction done thinking it would make me "skinny"..what a waste of MONEY! .....its alright tho, i have no regrets...i wanna lose it and keep it off...most of my family on both sides of my family is over weight...my dad has had a stroke, so has my grandma..my other grandma passed away from diabetes..my dad has diabetes...i wanna stop this weight problem before I become sick and have all these things also. i dont have anything right now but the way things are going im sure i will. sooooo ive decided to have the VERTICAL SLEEVE DONE(VSG). at first i was planning on getting a lapband but after i went to the seminar and met my doctor and all the diffrent procedures he does i decided that the best thing for me was the VSG. im currently 4'11 and 180 lbs...which doesnt seem like alot but for me height, TRUST ME IT IS!...my surgery is on thursday may 17th of 2007! which is in 2 days...my doctors name is Dr. pleatman who seems like a awesome doctor and ive heard lots of good things, my hospital is POH in pontiac, MI....i will keep you all updated on my progress. im very nervous and scared but i have faith in God and i know ill get thru this and ill be free of this depression thats caused from being over weight! im happy with everything in my life except for my self BECAUSE OF MY WEIGHT and im going to change that!!!!!!!! best of luck to me and everyone else out there going thru the same things.
