Revision to lengthen roux limb

I haven't been on the board in years.  I had Laproscopic RNY surgery almost 10 years ago and lost 100 pounds and kept all my weight off all this time with few complications.  I currently weigh 133.  This forum was so helpful to me, I am so grateful!

 I'm back with a problem.  I've developed very serious gastric and bile reflux. After many tests I'm having open RNY gastric revision surgery in Sept to lengthen the roux limb, and wondering if anyone has experience with this type of procedure or open surgery vs Laproscopy?
