Feeling Lean

On my better days lately, I eat lean and actually feel lean. A feeling I am not usually familiar with. I have not had alot of these feelings in my life of eating what and when I want., without a thought. Mindless eating is my downfall and my biggest mistake in life. Through all of the mistakes in my life, mindless eating is the worst. I am progressing into the mindful side of eating. ONE MEAL AT A TIME!!!

I just can't seem to stay away from them. They are everywhere! Damn, why do they taste so good? I hate the "pitfall" I feel when I eat them. They are everywhere! I really need to change my habits/tastes. This is going to be sooooo hard! I have so much knee pain it makes it hard to walk. I try but my knees "crunch" and the pain is so bad. I need to get back to swimming.

You are craving something, you make it and woof it down. Then you are not satisfied and it taste nothing like you'd thought it would taste? What now? Disappointed, dissatisfied, feeling really bad about myself right now. Why did I do it? I blew all those fat and carbs on something that was just plain not good. Must be good on the next meal, try to make up for the slip. Must carry on...

Frustrating, no self control today. Paid attention to my taste buds, not my logic. Oh well, and tomorrow is another day! Must be strong and carry on.

Today was a good day. I am learning to pay attention to what I eat, as opposed to "mindless eating", and it shows on my tracker. Slow and steady wins the race!

What an eye opener! I thought I was being good, but I really need to adjust my carbs..etc. Need more protein! It is hard living with "non-dieters". I'll keep on trying!

This is it! The beginning. I just started my weight loss prior to surgery, this will be the hardest part, I think. I am trying to get into the habit of tracking my food in the tracker. I like the visual of the fat vs protein, etc. A real eye opener! Any help I can get, I'll take.
