50 Weeks Post-Op

I'm going to my support group meeting today for the first time in a long time.  They asked that the 1 year anniversary people come to be recognized and perhaps give some advice.  I brought my before and after pictures along for show and tell.  I'm two weeks from my 1 year anniversary and it's been quite a change.  I actually showed off the pictures at work today and got a lot of "of my God" responses.  So I guess there's a big difference.  I'd still like to lose more as I gained (+0.4 lb) this week.  Continuing my trend of lose weight 2 weeks, then gain.  That's happened the last 8 or 9 weeks.  Still losing slowly.  That One-derland number keeps eluding me.  3 lbs to get there.  I'm setting a goal to get to under 200 before my 1 year anniversary.  Should be feasible.

Things are going well still.  Thankfully I'm still employed.  I survived another round of major cuts at work.  A lot of friends out of work now.
