"It was really helpful to have my husband and sister-in-law (a nurse) there with me alot to assit me. The nurses were very nice and helpful, but they just don't have enough time to tend to all your needs, so was very helpful to have someone there with me to help get me out of bed, on the toliet, etc..."
"I can't say ENOUGH great things about Dr. Vanguri. I will say he is a man of few words, but so down to earth and so easy to talk to and ask questions. And MOST improtantly he is so experienced in his field. That was the most important thing to me, his excellent reputation and record. He repaired an umbilical hernia, removed my gallbladder and did my OPEN RNY in less than 2 1/2 hours, I couldn't believe it. He knows what he's doing and has a great team he works with. I also can't say enough about Bev and Connie at the office. They are the BEST, they are very busy and sometimes you have to wait a few hours to get a return call, but they ALWAYS call you back and ALWAYS follow-up. Bev has had the WLS herself and is so wonderful to talk to and so experienced. yes they do have a structured aftercare program, every month for the first 12 months. I really can't say enough wonderful things about the surgeon and the office staff. They are so busy and swamped, but well worth the WAIT!!!!"
