Lisa, The waiting part is definatly a killer; however, i think it is going to be worth the wait! I had waited 4 months to get in for my consult and then another 6 months from consult to surgery. I guess i was lucky in the sense that i got a date right after consult and then they scheduled all my pre-op testings before then. You have to let me know what your date is. I work in North Quincy, probably just minutes away from you. We are close enough, we can do this together :) You can never have enough support. If your ever up late at night, stop in the chat; i am usually there from about 4am to 6am. Good Luck to you, let me know when you get a date. Also, you can email me anytime. ~Margaret!

Hi everyone and thank you all so much for all the kind words and poems, you people really know how to cheer a girl up :) I am feeling a little bit better now, I just want to know what my date is! If life were just that simple right? Well again my AMOS family you are the best! Iget so frustrated at times not having anyone to talk about "fat" stuff with, but then I come here and am welcomed with open arms :) THANK YOU ALL!!!

Hi everyone, I am getting a bit depressed over here! I have finally finished all of my preop testing on Weds, and I called my surgeon's office and the woman who does all his work is on vacation for the next week.. ;( I am sure I am being impatient but I cannot help it. It has been 6 months already and now another week for her to get back in to work get the letter and put all of my chart together and send it off for approval :( I dont even want to think about how long I will have to wait for approval. I have also gained another 5 lbs. I could really use some support right now ! Sorry to vent like this but I really needed too. If anyone is interested in becoming my angel the position is vacanct, so please let me know :) Thanks Lisa
