7 Months

Oct 09, 2012

Well - I haven't posted in a very long time. Overall I have been doing great.
Learning what I can and can't eat hasn't been an easy task for me. I still get nausea at times and feel sick to my stomach.
Glad the Dr gave me a pill that helps me recover quickly.  Everyday has been a challenge of what to eat and not to eat.
I am so glad I had this surgery because I find myself wanting (mostly head hunger) JUNK. I know that as sensitive as my stomach is that I wouldnt like the dumping so that is a huge bonus and makes me stay on track.
I am 7 months post op and have said goodbye to 86 pounds total. I have gained 4 pounds this week and I don't really know what the deal is.  I will stop drinking diet coke as I think that has ALOT to do with it.

Overall I am so blessed to have been able to have this surgery. I know without a shadow of doubt that this has truly saved my life. I was extremly overweight and didn't feel good about myself at all.
I am getting so many compiments which is very hard for me to handle because I don't take them well. I guess that is part of the low self esteem.

I don't regret anything and I am glad to be where I am so far! I hope to continue to lose and I hope I am able to meet my goal weight of 140 and maintain!!
