Well, it's been a rough few days, but now...whooopeee. I was frustrated with the pain/gas/and inability to get much of anything into me. Including plain water. When I was looking over my fluid goals for today, I realized by noon I wasn't even close. And I was full again. So I called the clinic and Dr. Cobourn phoned me himself. After we talked for a bit, he told me he wanted me to come right in.My husband came with me, cause if nothing else, I'm a chicken, and they fixed my problem. Turns out, I swelled more than they expected. They put 3.6cc into the band during the surgery. I have been going crazy with the problems that caused.
But now, I am good to go. I"m currently working on a bottle of Gatorade - purple. The pain is mostly gone and I am thrilled. At dinner tonight I'm going to give another whirl to jello. What happiness.
