So Dear Reader, I finally put pen to paper (or finger to key) and start recording my thoughts and notes on my RnY weight loss surgery. Since this is my first blog entry (and my first blog), I think I should explain why I'm bothering to keep this record.

Unfortunately Dear Reader, this blog is mostly for me. Some day, some time, I'll want to remember what went through my head as I started this new chapter of my life. Knowing the failings of my human brain, this will fade away. However, a written record crafted carefully can put me back at the moment.

For those that happen upon this blog, this journal of my thoughts; I hope you may gain some insight to your own condition. Perhaps this is a convenient handhold left behind to aid you on your journey.
