Nov 23, 2008
I flew from AK to San Diego and had VSG surgery by Dr. Aceves on November 11, 2008.
It all went well, very well. I was surprised at what a breeze the whole thing was.
When I returned home, I felt like superwoman and I overdid it BIG time for the first 2 days.
It's been an interesting transition with a few surprises.
I dream about eating. I wake up in a panic and full of guilt. ha.
Last night I was dreaming I was chewing something and was counting the chews- I was really going to pulverize whatever it was. I woke with a start; I had just bitten my tongue. Very sore tongue today.
The coffee withdrawls were the toughest thing I went through during the surgery time period.
Now it's heartburn.
So far, this has been a good experience, I'm so glad I did it.
