Well today is day 4 post-op. I still don't feel much better than day 1 post-op. I still have abdominal pain, incision pain and the CO2 gas pain is now in my shoulders. I feel so much better lying down and feel lightheaded when I get up. I am trying to get all my liquids in but it is impossible. I did manage to get 4 shakes in yesturday but only 36 of 56 ounces of clear liqiuds. I find I am burping an awful lot too. It's strange too, I keep having dreams of eating. Like in one, I had the surgery and decided I couldn't take the liquids only and ate 2 pieces of toast and a piece of banana bread. I can't tell if I'm nauseous or just hungry. I feel like I just need to write down my feelings to get it out there. I know other people out there know what I am going through but no one close to me does so I can't talk to them becuase thay haven't gone through it. Oh well I am going to take it day by day. Hopefully I will feel a little better tomorrow. I thought each day would get easier but it doesn't feel that way right now.

I had my surgery on the 29th. I left the hospital late last night. They almost weren't going to let me be discharged because I developed some strange full body rash but in the end it was decided I could leave as long as I promised to come back if the rash got any worse. I am having a hard time with pain because I am so sensitive to narcotics. I get nauseous on any thing and since I don't want to vomit I'm only taking tylenol. In the end it will all be worth it. I WILL BE HEALTHY AGAIN!!!
