Hi. Lois's surgery went well, and she was on the launch pad to go home on day 3. Then she developed some sort of reaction to one of her medications. We will be holding on to her for a few days until we ge this all straightened out. Her surgery went real well, and overall she is still doing great.

I just want to thank everyone for all their support. I am really glad there is a place like obesity help where people care so much about each other and support each other. To everyone who wrote me, thank you. You don't know how much I appreciate it. ;-)

Lois, I'm having my surgery in less than two days, and compared to two weeks ago, I'm calm and ready to go. So if you're nervous now, maybe you're just getting it out of the way. You have a lot of folks pulling for you. Good luck!

Lois, I'm not very good at asking for people's support either...it takes alot of courage, which you've shown you possess. I am saying a prayer and sending good thoughts that you have an uncomplicated surgery and a fast recovery. Like so many others on this site, I really care about how things go for you. Good Luck and God Bless.

Lois, I am sending lots of positive thoughts your way that your surgery goes smoothly. I am sure you will do well with Dr. Todd as your surgeon. The first two weeks are the roughest but it gets a little better everyday. So hang in there! It is so worth it! A WLS friend,

Dear Lois, Congratulations on your upcoming surgery date. It won't be hard to remember you on that day because it's my 24th wedding anniversary. You are so lucky to have Dr. Todd as your surgeon. He seems like such a wonderful caring man and he even posts updates about his patients on AMOS! You are in my thoughts and prayers.
