"Everyone from the top, surgeons and nurses, nursing aides and residents, right down to the cleaning personnel, went above and beyond when it came to meeting my needs. I never had to wait long for attention and they were ALWAYS attentive and respectful. Although at times, I felt like I was being a pain in the ***, never once was it ever conveyed to me by any of the professionals who cared for me during my stay at Henry Ford. They always wrote their names on the board in my room so I knew who it was that was my attendants so I never had to guess as to who was in charge of my care. My family was given the choice of staying in my room with me for the night and were made very comfortable and were given all the information they requested with regards to my surgery. I would give the highest recommendation to Henry Ford Hospital and its professional caregivers (as well as everyone else on the floor). I was treated with respect, dignity, understanding and compassion during even my most embarrassing moments. Thank you to all the women and men who made my stay at this hospital an excellent place to recuperate after my surgery."
