I went to Dr. Warnock's party on Saterday.  It was at the Country club.  He has a party once a year for his patients.  They had food (healthy) and music and dancing and fellowship.  I had funnnnnnn!!!!!

WOW, what can I say.  One day I decided to change my life.  I developed Diabetis, I knew I was at risk due to both my parents having diabetis so when in 2007 I went to the doctor and he tested me and low and behold there it was.  He was looking at me like I could  just stop over-eating and it would be that easy.  I wish life was wrapped in a pretty bow.  The reality of the whole thing was that I did not lose 1 pound.  I needed help in a major way.  I decided to research Gastric Bypass thinking there was no way my insurance or anyone would approve for me to have it done.  I also thought that if I was approved for Gastric Bypass that I had found a free ride to fitness, I look back now and know that there is no free ride with Gastric Bypass.  Here I go again getting ahead of myself .  I phoned a friend (Amalois) who explained to me how it worked and recommended that I take the risk.  Honestly at that point in my life I might of let them sew my mouth shut ha ha.  I decided to go to see Dr. Warnock in October of 2008 and I had the Gastric Bypass done Dec 17, 2008.  You may notice that I remember the exact date of the surgery, because it changed my life.  I was always active, my son said I moved like a thin person.  The weight fell off me with my exercise program.    I weigh 150 pounds now, the only problem I am having is that I am learning to not be invisible anymore.  When I say invisible I mean that people used to look away when they passed me.  I was not a threat to anyone in the work place or dating world.  I believe that my WOW moment happended when a beautiful girl walked by with her boyfriend and gave me a dirty look because he was checking me out.  I had the surgery in 2008 and here in 2011 I am still in disbelief of my new life.  I get to live, my diabeties if under control and I feel alive all the way to my soul.  World hear me roar!!!!!!!!!!1
