My first impression was that he was very realxed and more than willing to answer all of my questions. He took his time explaining the entire process and has been very helpful as well as his staff, especially Rhonda. Any questions before or after surgery you can call right up and get real answers. I feel like they take good care of me. My only advice to anyone having the surgery with my doctor is that if you have a bunch of questions write them down before your appt! Dr. Hoddinott has a excellent bedside manner but usually seems in a hurry but will answer your all your questions. After you become post-op he is constantly making sure you eat your protein and taking your vitamins ya know doing all the stuff you are supposed to be doing. I had a complication on my staple line with leakage and infection and as soon as I needed help they made an appointment for me the next day. I had no major surgeries before my open Rny and I trusted him with my life."
