"My first impression of Dr. Heider was that of a caring, compassionate doctor. He genuinely cares about his patients and offers support before and after surgery. Before surgery during the initial consultation he discussed the surgery options as well as the risks of each one. He helped me decide what surgery was right for me and explained the risks and possible complications of that surgery. After surgery he continues to follow his patients closely. The only negative appointment I have had was a day when it was sleeting and we both were probably a bit distracted by the bad weather. His staff is wonderful and are great cheerleaders! Most of them have had the surgery as well so they understand what each patient is experiencing. Overall I have had a wonderful experience as a patient of Dr. Heider and will recommend him to anyone contemplating bariatric surgery. "
