My name is Rachel I am the single mother of two precious little girls Eliana Rose and Emilee Renee....they are my world my inspiration and best friends. I open with this because besides for myself they are the reason I decided to have Gastric Sleeve surgery. Sugery is scheduled for July 18th and I can't wait to finally be able to run and play with my girls and not pay for it the next day.
I have been "chubby" since I was about 14 when most of my friends were wearing size 2-8 I was always rocking a 13. I was always that pretty but fat friend and I think looking back it was the number one reason for my low self esteem overall. As I have grown over the last 15 years that doubt has increased right along with my weight. This last year I found my self in pain constantly with my back and my mood was all over the place and I was becoming even more overly senstive. I realized from my many failed weight loss attempts that I was not strong enough to do this on my own.
Throught the 8 month process leading up to this weeks surgery I have went to countless appointments and began therapy recognizing a lot of my behaviors and life is gradually getting better....I look forward to the bright future ahead and listing this as yet another one of my achievments in life.
