With a Master's in Accouting and an Undergrad in computer systems - you'd think I could figure out how to blog! duh!.I'm 3 years out this month and down 150 pounds! Will post an update picture one of these days. But at this point I'm lighter than when I was in 4th grade. Can't believe it.
Only major problem I'm having is migraines. I seem to really develop them post surgery. Any suggestions will be really helpful. I know I'm probably lacking some minerals. But the WLS decision was definately a winner. Once I get past this setback with my head - I'll be 100%. My cholesterol is about 160, I'm no longer pre-diabetic, no more sleep apnea, my blood pressure still runs a little high - but much better than it would have. All in all - I think the best thing that's happened to my health in awhile. Beware that after the surgery you feel like you've been hit by a truck - but it doesn't last long. And stay away from the sugar - it's not worth it. Too many other yummy things anyway - and you need to focus on what you can enjoy and be healthy with. That's the easy part.
God bless!
