Hi Lynnette, Best of luck on your journey towards WLS. I am pulling for you and hope you can jump through all the hoops and get a date fairly quickly. It will be well worth the wait! Hi Lynette-- I just checked the message board and saw your great news about your appointment! Congratulations! You can make things go smoother by having all of your information together before you see the surgeon---he will need at least 2 years of medical records from you PCP, so get those and take them with you. Also, the results of your sleep apnea diagnosis---that's important. Also, have your questions about the surgery written down on an index card so that you remember to ask everything you want. You can overlook rudeness (although it's still not very nice!) as long as you feel that he is a good surgeon and knows what he is doing. Good luck to you. We'll all be pulling for you.
