6 Weeks out-Update

Dec 24, 2009

Hi Guys,
I wanted to update you on my progress. You all have been so encouraging I can't say thank you enough. As of today, I have lost a total of 45 POUNDS!!!!!! Thank you Lord. I can't believe it. I am starting to tolerate solid food, but still don't have much of an appetite. For the first time in years, I can actually see my collar bones!!! Can you believe it, collar bones?? I used to wear a 3x t-shirt, now I can fit into a 2x and it is big on me. I am on such a high right now, I can't even explain it. My skin, ohhhhh, my skin is so clear and not oily anymore. My complexion is so bright and clean, it is amazing. OHHHH, and guess what else....I had my first period in 6 years (without progesterone). It started 4 weeks after my surgery. For those of you who suffer from PCOS know how exciting and mindblowing this is. It is amazing to see how losing weight will regulate your hormones and so many other things that go awry. Guys, I am so excited about this loss. I am officially on the LOSERS BENCH....ADIOS!

Nov 17, 2009

Hi Guys,
Thank you for all of your prayers. I wwnt into the hospital on Friday 11/13 for gastric bypass and I must say that this is not an easy journey. These first few day have been very tough. I have has a lot of pain, gas, and no appetite whatsoever. It seems like I am forcing myself to drink water and ensure (yuk). Enough complaining, I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to have this surgery and I look forward to all of it's benefits. Again, thank you for all of your prayers.

On The Fast Track To Great Health!

Nov 12, 2009

Hello Everyone,
My name is Lynnyona and I am a 28 year old Christian woman. I love the Lord with all of my heart and He is the center of my life. I have been married for almost 6 years to the love of my life. I have been overweight since my teenage years and I am ready to stop being the fat girl in the room. People always say that I have a great personality and a beautiful face; but what about the rest of me? I am tired of having a complex of when I sit in meetings, I think, am I the biggest one here? I am a very confident person and very intellegent, I just believe that with all of this extra baggage it hinders people from seeing that. I have stuggled with hypertension and PCOS. I am ready to start living the life that God intended me to live. My surgery is scheduled for November 13th, 2009 and I am just overjoyed and nervous at the same time. Keep me in your prayers. Until next time............
