Day 4 Pre-op Diet - not even hungry. Weird.

However, that lasagna my daughter is cooking may make me cry ;-)

 

I have 268 calories left AFTER dinner. I'm not sure how that happened.

 

My doc says 800 calories a day. 2 must be shakes. varying assortment of veggies, fruit, cottage cheese, yogurt -as long as I hit 50g protein and stay under 800 calories.  I have to say, I'm pretty creative with my food so far. Smoothies that are mostly ice in the blender, spaghetti squash with lots of different kinds of spices, herbal tea,  and clear broth.  I hate "fake sugar" so I'm not eating the jello and popsicles I can have - I'd rather drink water than taste aspartame.

The only thing I really seem to be "missing" is pizza. My husband came home last night and ate one and I had to leave the room. 

 

I'm nervous has heck (esp. thanks to that post on the main page today) but it'll be ok. They can give me something to relax me before, right? :-)
