"The only problem I had was with rest. I came out of surgery at around 2 PM and was brought to my room. Within an hour I had my pain meds and was starting to doze off. As soon as I started to fall asleep, they turned on all my lights and my roomate was admitted and all of her visiters came in and were less than quiet. After she was settled and her visitors left, I started to doze again. Pretty much every single time I started to doze off after this point one of my machines or one of my roomate's machines would go off and beep incecently until a nurse came to turn it off. This happened every 10-20 minutes making it impossible to sleep. Finally arounf 3 am I asked for some ear plugs, I was so frutrated and exhausted all I wanted was sleep!"
