Hello! My name is Candice (or Candi). I live in southern CA in a small town called Apple Valley. I currently weigh 257 lbs, and am 5'7". I suffer from diabetes, and it is this condition that has made me look into wls. I have Kaiser insurance, and I am very lucky to be one of those few who have not had to jump through hoops to have this covered. I will start classes in May, which last 3 months, and then on to a list for surgery. I am looking into gastric bypass, as I am hoping that will be more beneficial for the diabetes. I am super excited,and very motivated, and and hoping to find some friends on here that I can follow on their "journey"! Look forward to having more to share as my own journey continues.
