I wanted to have WLS for ten years. We tried time,and time again to save the money, and having a large family something always would come up. We tried 3 different insurance companies, every time it was something, and it was usually a clause in the policy not allowing any type of WLS no matter what I weighed! I was so desperate, and sad, and wanted to have my surgery. But, I am always the person to put myself last on the list (least important) and one day after seeing myself at a family members wedding, I was as fixed up as much as I could get, new dress, new shoes, I had really tried to look so nice.. I saw myself in that picture and I was so big.. so large.. I said no more! Whatever I have to do to change my life I will do it! And exactly one month later, I had my surgery in Mexico with Dr.Joya. When something is meant to be it just happens, you can feel the change coming, and you will sacrifice any and everything to make it happen. I am thankful to have a gracious and good God who made everything happen for me like clock work.
