Had surgery in Feb 2015 because it was hard for me to walk. I had broken one ankle and had the other ankle fused many years prior to this, and in 2014, I experienced extreme knee pain. The doctor said that due to my weight (aprox 289 lbs) I needed a new knee, and would need the other knee done not too long after that, and I would probably need both hips done in the future. I decided that I was going to look into bariatric surgery instead of worrying about four operations, plus, it was getting harder and harder to put any pressure on my ankles. It has been 7 months and I am down about 80 lbs. It is absolutely great! I can sit like a lady (cross legs!) wear seatbelts, bend over, clean with ease, and not having to break, have energy. But I am worried about still throwing up.....is that normal?
