"My one concern and aggravation was the student nurse. The regular nursing staff was fantastic, very caring, extremely helpful and prompt. The student nurse was not helpful at all, obtrusive, and had a poor bedside manner. She wheeled me out to my car and ran the wheelchair into a cart, banged my foot into the elevator, couldn't steer it straight, and ran over bumps like she was a NASCAR racer. I think the student nurses need to keep their hands off the patients until they learn how to treat patients tenderly after major surgery."
"My first impression of him was that he was completely caring and competent. I felt at ease with him and felt like he listened to my questions and answered them well. rnrnThe office staff is wonderful and courteous.rnHe truly emphasizes aftercare and encourages the patient to start making changes before surgery. He encouraged me to bring my spouse to the support meeting, WHICH WAS EXCELLENT, and very moving, and gave us ample opportunities to address any concerns or questions.rnrnBoth surgical competence and bedside manner are important, and Dr. Warnock has both in abundance. He puts you at ease, even if you are nervous about surgery."
